You have just registered for an B1+ course Dutch (from B1 tot B1+: welcome at our school! Here you will find the terms & conditions you have agreed to by becoming a student at DutchStrijp-S.
You have registered for a elementary course that will take you from level B1 to level B1+ (CEFR) in Dutch.
Er zijn 10 lessen van 2 uur.
Learning a language takes time and commitment. You will need to practice at home, at the supermarket, with your neigbours, etc. On average you will have 6 hours of homework each week. If you can’t come to class, please let the teacher know by sending an e-mail. Lessons missed by the student can’t be rescheduled. Retrieving (or refund) of missed lessons is not possible. Study materials and homework are provided by the teacher. You will receive certificate of participation if you have been present in 80% of the lessons.
The costs of the beginners course are €280,-. The course fees must be paid 24 hours prior to the start of the course. If you have paid the course fees your spot has been reserved for you. The course fees don’t include the book we use (Nederlands op niveau). Use of the book is obligatory.
Our courses only start with a minimum of 8 students. Should a course have to be cancelled or rescheduled, we will inform you at least three working days before the official start. You will not be charged and get a refund if you have already paid the course fees.

Methode
Nederlands op niveau is een totaalmethode Nederlands voor hoogopgeleide anderstaligen. Het boek brengt je van niveau B1 naar niveau B2. De hoofdstukken zijn gebaseerd op culturele en actuele thema’s: positief, sociaal, progressief, (inter)nationaal, creatief en duurzaam.
In elk hoofdstuk komen steeds alle vaardigheden aan bod: lezen, luisteren, spreken en schrijven. Daarnaast is er aandacht voor uitbreiding van het vocabulaire en grammaticale correctheid. De nadruk ligt telkens op actief gebruik van de taal in betekenisvolle situaties.
Bij het boek is een uitgebreide website met beeldfragmenten, audiofragmenten, liedjes, ingesproken leesteksten en vocabulaire, grammatica-, prepositie- en vocabulaireoefeningen en oefeningen met onregelmatige werkwoorden.
Daarnaast zijn er ook in het boek opdrachten en belangrijke tips opgenomen waarmee de cursisten zich kunnen voorbereiden op het Staatsexamen II.
