Would you like to take your next step in learning Dutch? In this interactive course we take you from level A1 up to level A2. We use a communicative method focusing on listening and speaking. You’ll be engaging in Dutch social life in no time.

There will be 10 lessons of 2 hours each, scheduled as follows:
You have just registered for a beginners course Dutch from A1 to level A2: welcome at our school! Here you will find the terms & conditions you have agreed to by becoming a student at DutchStrijp-S.
You have registered for a elementary course that will take you from level A1 to level A2 (CEFR) in Dutch.
There will be 10 lessons of 2 hours each, scheduled as follows:
Learning a language takes time and commitment. You will need to practice at home, at the supermarket, with your neigbours, etc. On average you will have 6 hours of homework each week. If you can’t come to class, please let the teacher know by sending an e-mail. Lessons missed by the student can’t be rescheduled. Retrieving (or refund) of missed lessons is not possible. Study materials and homework are provided by the teacher. You will receive certificate of participation if you have been present in 80% of the lessons.
The costs of the beginners course are €280,-. The course fees must be paid 24 hours prior to the start of the course. If you have paid the course fees your spot has been reserved for you. The course fees don’t include the book we use (Start.nl). Use of the book is obligatory. You can buy the book at school on the first day of class for €24,95. You can pay by card.
Our courses only start with a minimum of 8 students. Should a course have to be cancelled or rescheduled, we will inform you at least three working days before the official start. You will not be charged and get a refund if you have already paid the course fees.

Method
We will be working with Start.nl part 2. With this blended learning method, you will prepare your class on your computer, tablet or smartphone. In class we practice, focusing mainly on speaking and listening. After class, the e-learning will help you to consolidate everything you have learned. We also encourage you to practice outside of class: our exercises help you to get comfortable using your Dutch in real life. On average, you will have 6 hours of homework every week.
